Overview

Corruption, one of the major themes in Macbeth, greatly affects the title character and drives the play’s action. Students will use this worksheet to identify one scene from each act that demonstrates how Macbeth is increasingly corrupted by the promise and wielding of power. They will then locate a quote that exemplifies the scene and analyze how power corrupts Macbeth in the chosen text.
