Overview

Making inferences is a powerful way for students to deepen their comprehension of a text. Students will use this worksheet to make inferences about whom Daisy actually loves—Tom or Gatsby or neither. For each piece of textual evidence provided, students will record their inferences as to what the details reveal about Daisy’s true feelings. They will then use these inferences to make a determination about whom Daisy loves.
